The Cubs winning the World Series impacted the world in so many ways (17 Photos)

As you've probably heard by now, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series last night by defeating the Cleveland Indians in an epic game 7 that went to extra innings. Sure, you're probably sick of us talking about them, but let's face it, we're huge Cubs fans here at theCHIVE and we can't get enough of all of this, despite the fact that we're all far too hungover. The collective exhale and shout for joy by the entire city of Chicago was heard around the country. A city that has had their hopes flattened by their lovable losers partied like it was 1908, the last time the Cubs won the World Series. It's remarkable to think how long that fan base has waited for a championship, but things certainly got a little crazy this past week as the North Siders watched their Cubs march to the championship.

Signs ‘that guy’ in your office might be a psychopath (14 Photos)

Posted: 03 Nov 2016 11:00 AM PDT

It's an uncomfortable reality to accept, but psychopaths are more common than you'd probably expect. While it might seem like a low percentage, research has shown that nearly 3% of males and 1% of females have psychopathic characteristics. If you work in a fairly large office, there's a likely chance you're sitting next to the next Patrick Bateman. Okay, that's a little bit of a stretch, but you're probably in the proximity of someone who could be deemed a 'psychopath'. It goes without saying that not all psychopaths are dangerous, but you should be aware that their brains are wired in fundamentally different ways. Experts suggest that the same characteristics of a psychopath are ideal in getting ahead in a work environment. Do these traits match anyone you work with?
