While we want them to feel like they're a part of the family by feeding them table scraps, there are certain things among the spread that you really should NOT give them a taste of. Here are those 10 items.

The world can’t get enough Supermoon memes (22 Photos)

Incase you haven't looked up in the past few days, or gotten notified on Facebook, the supermoon is upon us. It's like social media has been hypnotized by its enormous presence. But what exactly is the supermoon and why is everybody so intrigued? The moon's orbit around the earth is elliptical, meaning that it has a point where it's furthest away from the earth (apogee) and a point where it's closest (perigree). The supermoon occurs when the moon's closest point coincides with a full moon, like last night. But what noticeably get's everyone in awe, is that the lunar disk appears 15% bigger at night, and 30% brighter. I'll admit, I caved in and took a picture or two, but mostly because my girlfriend was in them. Not only is it quite the sight, but knowing that everyone on the planet is experiencing the same moon, brings a sense of unity as we have a common bond to share. Nothing shows that more than the pictures that have been shared of the event from across the world.

Grocery stores are an essential part of our lives, unless you live on a farm. We go there for our sustenance. If you're like me, you stock up as much as you can to avoid going back for as long as possible. There is something about the way people act in grocery stores that sends my anxiety into a tailspin. It's my own personal hell. Here are just a few of the kinds of people you're sure to run into next time you need a jumbo pack of TP.

It’s cottages instead of cages for these shelter doggos (16 Photos)

Posted: 15 Nov 2016 03:30 AM PST

I can't help it, when I hear about dogs that are living in shelters, waiting to be adopted, my heart just breaks. I want to adopt them all and bring them into my tiny little apartment and be the guy who lives with like 35 dogs. Alas, I don't have the means. But that doesn't mean that dogs don't deserve the absolute best care, which is what the Luvable Dog Rescue in Oregon is all about. They go above and beyond to make sure that their doggos have the best quality of life. You know how? Instead of crates, each dog get a cottage. True story.

The best selling tech gifts from the last 30 years (31 Photos)

According to the electronics retailer Best Buy, these are the best selling 'tech' each year since 1986. From Game Boy to the Nintendo 64 and beyond, these are the technological marvels that had everyone literally climbing over each other to get their hands on (I'm looking at you Black Friday). Indeed, its interesting how 'tech' has gone from squarely in the realm of children's toys to the mass proliferation of multimedia devices that cross every age range.

"Have a toddler that is in a bad mood? Sit down with them, look them straight in the eye, and say "You're mad, so don't laugh." Just keep repeating it as seriously as you can. I've done it for 15 different cousins over a couple of decades, and by the fifth repetition of "DON'T LAUGH" they are busting a gut and rolling on the floor."- Nitrostoat "If someone is talking or preoccupied, you can hold out your hand and they'll give you whatever they're holding. I did it to my sister with the car keys and made her think she lost them somewhere at the store."- beccabooha "When playing rock, paper, scissors stop right before and ask "without looking, can you tell me what color your shirt is?" and people seem to always pick scissors after. I've done it to maybe 20 people and got the same result every time."- Gr1pp717
