Have you ever felt homesick? Many people who've lived in hospitals, nursing homes, or even in a rundown apartment somewhere far away from the house they grew up in, know what that void feels like. Let's face, there's a reason the phrase 'there's no place like home' still resonates with people both young and old alike today. Peking University has created an algorithm, named TarGuess, that is able to crack passwords in less than 100 guesses 73% of the time. I know, there's a lot of numbers there. Basically the algorithm proved that it can successfully guess your password in under 100 guesses. If you're thinking 100 guesses is still a lot just remember that it is simulating a hacker who is most likely willing to put in more time and effort to crack your account than you put in to make it safe.
