Ranking the most painful insect stings on the planet (11 Photos)

Entomologist Justin Schmidt has been stung more than 1,000 times by over 80 different species, and luckily for us he ranked those insect stings on his "Schmidt Pain Scale for Stinging Insects." The stings were ranked on a four-point scale. The honey bee was used as a reference point with a rating of 2 on the scale. Half points were used and to go up or down on the scale the sting had to be discernibly more or less painful than stings on another level. Some of the stings are below, with their pain level and a short description of the sting.

Some of the most iconic and quoted movie scenes of all time were unscripted. Actors took a chance and it paid off. Sometimes hilariously. Here are a few of the most impressive and famous scenes actors ad-libbed. "Here's Johnny" Nicholson free styled this line as homage to Ed McMahon's catch phrase for introducing Johnny Carson on the famous night time talk show. It was the least threatening way to announce himself he could think of. The irony of the line makes the scene even more terrifying.

I hate to say it, but school's around the corner and it sucks, unless you're at the magical age where you're starting university and leaving home for the first time. In that case, you're in for one hell of a treat! So now you've got a new place to call home and based on the look of some these residences and dorms, you might not have to work as hard to get some 'study' partners to come over and help you cram for your midterms, if you know what I mean. Seriously, look at these buildings! Whether it's because you live in a castle and it's giving you Hogwarts/Westros vibes, or have a view of the mountains and it's giving you the loving feels, these residences are gorgeous.
