Summer is winding down, and the sunny days and green leaves will soon be replaced with a chilly breeze and an array of orange and brown. The seasons are changing and with that, some inspirational and wise quotes seem to pair nicely. François-Marie Arouet, otherwise known as Voltaire, was a French writer, historian, and philosopher who was known for his wit. Here are some of his greatest (though there are many to choose from) words of wisdom.

Japanese art teacher Hirotaka Hamasaki creates artwork for his students using chalk and a blackboard. His art started when his students asked them to make a farewell message for graduation and he has kept it going since. Some of his masterpieces are below and check out his Instagram for more.

Nikola Tesla Nikola was insanely obsessive compulsive. He would not touch anything that had the slightest sign of dirt, nor would he touch anything that was round. He was also apparently obsessed with the number 3. He only would stay in hotel rooms divisible by 3, he would walk 3 times around the block before entering a building, and he always ate his meals with 3 sets of 6 napkins.
