ACDC Lane - Melbourne Situated in the central business district of Melbourne, ACDC Lane was renamed in 2004 to pay tribute to the band. Melbourne's mayor christened ACDC Lane with the words, "As the song says, there is a highway to hell, but this is a laneway to heaven. Let us rock." The alley now has vibrant street art and a rock 'n' roll nightclub, Cherry Bar.
