Animals that were actually named after “Star Wars” characters (10 Photos)

Hopefully these animals are worthy of The Force, because they've got very big shoes to fill.     Han Solo    The Han Solo trilobite died about 470 million years ago, and in 2004 Samuel Turvey attributed the name to the Han people of China ( that's where the fossils were found) and solo because it's the only species of its genus. Turns out he was actually dared to name it after the Star Wars hero.
