When you're producing a TV show it's easy to pretend like the only things to worry about are budget and scheduling, but sometimes real world events can play a large part.    It could be acknowledging real world tragedy, like the tragic death of an actor or something more uplifting like the news of a pregnancy. Either way, you still need to film a show in the end and that means getting creative. In the case of pregnant actresses though, creative isn't always the best way to describe it.    For instance, making actress Marcia Cross  stand behind a ginger bread house on Desperate Housewives, not that creative.

You know that thing you think you saw in the sky last night? That wasn't a star or a plane. It may have been... a UFO.    In the category of "Canadian institutions we never knew we had," there's a group out in Winnipeg called Ufology Research and they do a yearly survey, taking information from various provincial UFO groups, sightings reported online and yes, legit institutions such as Transport Canada, Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces, to release an official Canadian UFO Report.    As it turns out, 2015 had the second-most sightings out of the past 3 decades, with 1,267 (that's 3-4 UFO's per day).
