From building the stadiums to constructing a suitable living village for all the athletes, It takes a lot to put on the Olympics. Some countries already have the infrastructure in place, while others need to build it from scratch, which can make preparation quite expensive. Most countries think they'll make all that money back through the revenue of fans and sponsorships, but that's not always the case.
