Seiji Kawasaki is a Japanese sculptor who is carving realistic food items out of wood. "The person who looks at my work feels like eating even though he knows that it is actually wood. I think that's very interesting. I think at the same time, my work is also a fan art of food. I'm a fan of food.

Sometimes the sports world is full of wild and weird info, and facts that make you want to spit out your beer and go "What, wait!  That can't be right!"  If esoteric hockey trivia is your thing, there's a Reddit asking for users for their "oh f*ck off, no way that's true!" hockey fact.    The internet did not disappoint, such as this little nugget from user Table_Coaster; the 1956 Cup winning Montreal team had 12 hall of famers on it at once (Jean Beliveau, Maurice Richard, Henri Richard, Doug Harvey, Dickie Moore, Bernie Geoffrion, Bert Olmsted, Tom Johnson, Emile Bouchard, and Jacques Plante, Frank Selke as the GM and Toe Blake as the head coach). Dad goes to incredible lengths to help son feel comfortable with a cancer scar (6 Photos)

In March of 2015, 8-year-old Gabriel Marshall from Kansas, US, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor that would require surgery to his head in order to be removed. I can't imagine anything scarier than dealing with a cancerous tumor and ultimately realizing you will be lift with a life-long, sizable scar on your head. But Gabriel's father Josh Marshall wasn't about to let his son go through this life experience alone, so to boost his son's confidence, Gabriel decided to get his son's scar tattooed on his own head in an act of support & solidarity.

Urumi    The dreaded sword and whip combination. These blades were anywhere from 3-5 meters long, and could wrap around the wielders waist like a belt. With sharp ends on both sides, this weapon was extremely dangerous for both the attacker and the defender.

Never drink alone again, there’s now wine for cats (6 Photos)
