Let me preface this story by saying that I think dogs are truly God's gift to man. And nothing is more powerful to me than the connection between a dog and its owner. With that being said, The Animal Rescue Site is a resource that enables pet owners to share their heartwarming rescue stories, and one such story, told by Kris from Prestonsburg, Kentucky, had me moved beyond words. Kris had some deeply emotional things to say about his recently passed pup named Jessie.

Some guys are just too talented and can do wondrous things with the most basic of objects, or do things with toys that you never thought possible. Ever think you could see a DaVinci masterpiece or a Warhol painting made out of Rubik's cubes? Me neither. There's a studio in Toronto called Cube Works and they play on nostalgia by making art out of things we loved in our childhood. On top of their work in cubes, they also make art out of Crayola Crayons and Vinyl, but it the magic the they make with a square with only six colours to work with that we're fascinated with, and their Facebook is full of some pretty amazing work. You can also check out their website Cubeworks for some more art, behind the scenes and other fun stuff.
