Advice on dating has always been a little obvious, but this dating guide for single women from 1938 takes it to another level. I'm not sure whoever wrote this had ever actually met a women or had done any research, but none the less it's worth a read for it's comic value alone.

The criminal capers of Sidney Reilly; the real life James Bond (12 Photos)

It seems as if the character of James Bond is so outlandish, and so badass that he must be a complete work of fiction, right? I mean sure, who can be that tough, that seductive and not have died thousands of times over from a toxic combination of cirrhosis, STI's and bullet holes? The truth, however, is even more farfetched than the concept of an immortal agent who changes his face every 6 films or so. There were some real James Bond's in history. Author Ian Fleming has remarked on several occasions that his literary creation is a pastiche of people he's worked with during the war, and spies he's read about, including Sidney Reilly; The Ace of Spies. Reilly was considered one of the greatest spies of the 20th century, credited with saving British interests countless times over. He also was a certifiable badass, who was ruthless, dangerous and was ultimately only looking after himself.

Black Teeth Elizabeth I had a huge thing for sweets. So much so, that her teeth were apparently very dark. For a short while, women actually blackened their teeth on purpose, because they thought that it showed that they could afford sugar, which was very expensive at the time.

Anybody recognize this guy? No? Not even a little... that's odd. This guy here, he's pretty much the most prolific, uncredited extra and he's been in the background of practically every show, ever. At first you'll look at this gallery thinking it's a really good photoshop. But alas, you'd be wrong. He's in everything. Literally, everything. He's that fucking guy who's always in the background.
